Are you interested in publishing with the Harvard International Law Journal? We are currently accepting submissions for Recent Development pieces for publication. The pieces may be published in print or online. We are acecpting submissiond on a rolling basis until November 22, 2013 at midnight. Submissions should be emailed toHLSILJNOTES@gmail.com.
Recent Developments: Recent developments include book reviews, case comments, or other discussions of recent legal developments in international law. Possible topics include international court decisions, recent treaties, or investments between international organizations. These pieces are about 5,000 to 7,000 words. The first half of the piece should analyze the legal development, with the second half devoted to the author’s own comment or critique. For exmaple, in a book review, the student could summarize the author’s argument in the first half, and then criticize the argument or point ou future implications in the second half. Citations should follow Bluebook format. If you are interested in being published or have a topic proposal, then please reach out to us.
